Silly logic since again lucci could NOT react or fight back. His will to fight was gone and he was unable to move.

This scenario is completely different. Luffy had all the tools to react etc but couldn't and needed zoro to save him from a named attack from a person that was besting him without using named attacks

Luffy was in base so he not using all his tools.
This was gaban do a serious move and luffy then decide to use all his tools by going G5.
