Out of character for Zoro to step in like that I thought this would be a 1v1 between Luffy and Gaban. In Egghead Luffy asked Zoro if Zoro needed help against Lucci and here we have Zoro stepping in without even asking. Zoro even asked Luffy in Jaya when Luffy went for Bellamy.

Seems to me that he dodged most of the attack but he was abt to be hit by the last one which zoro blocked , luffy’s fs is trash tho

So far Gaban seems to be like garp from personality and lifestyle so it could be that he actually kept up. he was able to box with Luffy with the key alone. So maybe he is stronger than many old legends who are either rusty or ill

If he gets defeated easily by a God knight tho or he is said to be weaker it's so over Luffy stocks till G5 time limit is lifted
