Ok while I do agree there are maily parallels with luffy and zoro.

For example: rodger parralels zoro because they are swordman, have named supreme grade blades and have flying slash attacks. Seems like he also likes booze like Rayleigh and zoro as well. But is that enough for him to be parraleled with zoro when he has that much more parallel with luffy?

Same with Rayleigh. Sanji has some parallel with Rayleigh as well. Rayleigh used kicks, he is am excellent swimmer and has a great swimming feat. However is that enough to have him share dual parralels with sanji? No.

The problem with the gaban parralel is not the parralel. It's the fact that's it's only one parallel. And that's that he is the 3rd strongest. Nothing else besides that truly ties them. Not the fighting style, not the hobby, not the motive. And that's my issue. Essentially once we k own more about gaban and he has more "sanji like moments" then the solely direct parallel with sanji will be more definitive
