Gaban has the last Road Ponegylph onboard the Oro Jackson.

The Oro Jackson will be destroyed.

The Knights will escape with the Road Ponegylph, but it won't matter because Robin will have already read it and/or Gaban will have its contents memorised.

Blackbeard will eventually learn its meaning after he kills Imu and takes his place.

Agreed with all. Not sure about the OJ getting destroyed though, why that ?

Part dramatic value, and part to show off Loki’s destructive power, perhaps.

I think the whirlpools have to do with a mechanism acquired on Lodestar needed to reach Laugh Tale and/or the underwater Ancient World. I believe Sunbell played a specific role on the Roger Pirates to do with that mechanism and will be at Lodestar.
