I think people have a hard time of accepting because of manga like Naruto where Madara can literally solo the entire verse with one eye.

In one piece, top tiers are very strong, but they arent god tier. We saw in marineford, whitebeard had trouble with tons of va level fodder. The same thing with kaido, he's going to have a tough time beating all the sulongs and scabbards, who have been underestimated.

You dont need to win 100 out of 100 to be the strongest, a slip up can end the fight in favor of someone else.
Considering that Shanks isnt WSS nor WSM, how can he win more against WSC when he cant win against other two title holders?

Yes!! The argument about whether Kaido is WSC is solved by "how can Shanks win against WSC"!!!

WSC should be able to win against any opponent at any time. Or else, there is no WSC, it is just fiction made up by people of OP. And that is the truth. Any top tier can beat or get beaten by any other top tier. No one predict a clear winner when two top tiers are fighting BEFORE the fight itself. And if no one can predict it, there is no WSC.

Did you notice something? Oda is conveniently avoiding WSC. World's Strongest Military.

I find it pretty funny that scabbards are bleeding more than Kaido, they seemingly took more damage from the fall than Kaido took from their combined attack.

True, they plan to kill each other. But that is after they have taken over the world.

Kaido is supposed to bring too much into the table here. She can have a fortress but she can't win against WG/Marines without him (she can't win with him either, but that's another matter entirely). So, Kaido's death is not win-win for Linlin.

I think Kaido and BM said in Ch. 954 or Ch. 955 that they will work together till they take over the world and then they will kill each other.
