The intention of the role, I believe, is that I would pretend to be loyal to them (hence the Messenger ability), get information from them (i.e. what they've done), then leak it all to town.

Like how Snape worked in the HP game.

I'm not going to hunt based on flips, especially when the flip is Red Night. I also got burnt trying to do that in the Warcraft game. Caught wolf Charlie early and then tried to solve based on that. Got destroyed for the rest of the game. So I'm still going to go after who I think is suss.

I got a hint on his ability that said he could stop an action. So when he claimed, I wanted all his abilities to see if he lied or it matched up. He said he could destroy abilities which I guess would be stopping an action.

i'd say that destroying abilities and stopping actions is completely different thing

stopping action is sth like roleblock/rolecrush/jail/commute

destroying abilities prevents target from using them in future, not as they use it

Could be a red herring. I know nothing about Red Night, but would a wolf just constantly bring up their mate like that, that obviously and that many times? That's why I said Red Night was on the nose. I do there is a reason they mentioned the players they did but I don't know which reason is right.
