Yea, Oda treated Jinbei pretty well for the most part (ignored the boxes in Egghead lol).

Even against a Yonko like Big Mom, Oda makes Jinbei looks really good. Well, to be fair it's Big Mom we're talking about here.

Anyway, Brook and Gunko are definitely gonna interact. I can't wait to see how their dialogues goes Lmao.

Oda usually prefers not to humiliate Jimbei, but when a character is strong and presented as formidable anything can happen (I recall Kata treating him as a non-issue once). I think maybe given the circumstances. It would be massive hype if she beats Jimbei and the weaker Straw Hats. Shows the Holy Knights are generally very strong, and will probably lead in to Colon being used to disadvantage Gaban.
