Also we know for a fact from the anime that Kizaru was blocking Snakeman with light orbs on his palms:

This is a millisecond frame in the Egghead Part 2 teaser trailer after Luffy activates Snakeman at around 26 to 27 seconds in

Which means that the reason we didn't see the black lightning effect on Snakeman is because Luffy wasn't actually making contact with Kizaru

Thus it's confirmed Luffy was using ACOC in Snakeman @MarineHQ @SakazOuki @TheAncientCenturion @Elder Lee Hung @Paragorn
Wanna learn some more arcane knowledge only a TOEI BS scholar would share?

TOEI Snakeman was making Kaido bleed without ACoC.

And G5 was making him bleed without any haki at all with some of the most basic of punches (the very first punch draws blood, the rest of the nameless gatling makes him spit out a good bucketful).

And none of Kaido's bagua attacks make G5 Luffy bleed, including DD:TB. TOEI just decided that Kaido's not stronk enough to draw blood from him at this point

And this proto-WSG knocked down Kaido for ~ a minute of screen time and didn't even have any armament haki in it.

And G5 Luffy, via some indescribable fuckin' way gaining the properties of light, was able to blitz (0:18+) Kaido from a large distance away.

Let's be real.

Snakeman vs Kizaru is like two pages of them just doing moves at each other like this:

And you can't tell what is happening until Kizaru does his orbital kick.

Meanwhile the anime turned TWO PANELS of Garp vs Kuzan into this:

You'd best believe the anime is going to make Luffy vs Kizaru 1 million times cooler

When advcoc is used, even if the attack does not touch the enemy or object, fluid lightning flashes appear around the weapon used or any part of the body of the person using it (arm, leg, head), so there is no advcoc in this scene, what difference does it make even if there is? This means that kizaru has to dodge those attacks, because when luffy hits him, he will stick to the ground like he does every time.

:luffylaugh:

Bro the fact that Kaido couldn't even see these attacks while Wizaru just raises his palms

:gokulaugh::gokulaugh::gokulaugh::gokulaugh::gokulaugh::gokulaugh:
And it's canon. Look up the manga panel. Hybrid Kaido was barely able to block a punch or two with his club while he was getting tagged over a hundred times per second. His facial expression gives it away lmao.

Kaido literally needs drunken mode to use FS or whatever he used during thieving drunk mode otherwise he can't even hold a candle to Katakuri's performance against Snakeman let alone Kizaru's.

This is facts.

Do you say that the speed of onigashima snake man luffy is equal to wci snake man? This is contrary to the story, also onigashima is far above luffy fs wci, kizaru pika pika no mi is the light man who eat the fruit, so at the speed of light, it is quite normal for other characters not to be at this speed, but this does not make him stronger, being fast does not increase haki.

Do you think they'll extend it a good deal? IMO I think we're getting almost a minute of base Luffy v Kizaru shenanigans before Snakeman. Not sure if Snakeman is where they'll stick to the script.
I think they'll extend ALL parts of the the fight significantly.

Vincent Chansard is confirmed to be one of the animators working on the fight.

And Chansard is the one who turned King's little magma dragon into this:

So you can kind of logic out that Luffy vs Kiz we'll be heavily extended.

TheAncientCenturion

I will never forgive Oda

I can't wait to treat this fight as canon unless it shits on Kizaru
I think it's basically impossible for the fight to do that.

1) Base Luffy was rocking with Kaido so even if base Luffy and Kizaru have an extended back and forth it wouldn't matter. Net neutral.

2) Any extension to Snakeman vs Kizaru won't matter since Kizaru ultimately overpowers Snakeman anyway. So net neutral.

3) And any extension to G5 vs Kizaru is an obvious plus. So either net neutal or net positive.

Basically Kizaru vs G5 in the anime will either make Kizaru look the same or better, and the fight will be a million times cooler either way.

The anime will show how much Luffy was nerfed from having to play an escort quest with Vegapunk as the braindead NPC who always walks into danger

I also think the dude implied he is actually doing a good bit for Luffy vs Kizaru.

If I had to guess he'll work on Gear 5 vs the clones.

Generally Chansard's work (Zoro vs King, Sukuna vs Mahoraga) tend to be large scale stuff so the clones vs G5 would probably fit with his style the best
I don't care much for that. I hope Snakeman vs Kizaru gets some love. Not only having Kizaru stand still blocking his punches but also dancing around it with ease to highlight his speed.
