I was telling Yamato fans this years ago. If you actually like her the last thing you want is for her to become a Strawhat, because any power scaling fantasy they had would come to an end once she did. Jinbe was always going to end up as another Franky/Robin and Yamato would have as well. But seeing her arsenal meant that Oda couldn't realistically write her in that way so her chances of joining were always slim. But this was obvious to anyone who didn't buy into the anti-M3(anti Sanji) propaganda. Now my boy is carrying boxes and extinguishing fires for a living while getting hype tooled in group fights with 99 percent of his fanbase being masked Zoro fans that keep his reputation up through low effort memes just as a move against the Sanji fans .
