It really do be like that, like I didnt see anybody shitting on Kizaru when Apoo blew him the fuck up. Its just to showcase logia/regen respectively and its a good feat from Usopp good for him.

Now some people took it as me saying Kizaru and Gunko are on the same level for some reason. When theyre not,Kizaru is far stronger imo.

Hitting the body of an HK or Gorosei shows you the exact damage they would take.

It the same in terms of them not caring about damage and taking hits .
Also just hitting the body of the elder or Hk don't tell you about there durability since they can use haki or other stuff to up it .
Plus durability in OP is what the fuck ever Oda want it a fodder marine could do damage to Zoro , law , kid etc etc with a gun without haki but they could take attacks that would destroy mountains from other people .

Shanks lost his arm to a fish yet hes one of if not the strongest current top tier, Warcury is durable as fuck. Mars took next to do damage. Either way what Im saying is since they dont take damage they dont bother protecting themselves, but if they feel like they will take damage they will fight differently.
