Kumas paw pads are only effective close quarters he needs to touch things to redirect them. Sure his redirection is faster, but seems much harder to control and harder to aim. Gunkos arrows are remote, she doesn’t have to let the attacker get too close to her to be redirected and can be used on multiple people simultaneously and precisely perfectly reflecting attacks back at her sender. For example if Kizaru shot a laser at both, Kuma may be able to send it away, but Gunko may be able to fully redirect it back or at another enemy effectively making her opponents strength her own.
And with Law, Laws fruit is much better but the redirection power of Gunkos is better because she doesn’t need to retain a Room which drains stamina.

Redirecting attacks is nutty, I guess the counter is to be faster then her reaction speed? Or her hand speed @Kurozumi Wiwi notice how she had to put her hand up to turn the attack back towards Nami.

I think her arrow wrap around ability is going to be tough to deal with. It feels like it can end a fight in an instant.
And she was also seen piercing those gigantic beasts in the Underworld, means she's lethal aswell, especially when she covers those arrows in haki.
That arrow path ability gives her great mobility, even if her opponent is flying she can reach them.
And it looked like she was using awakening in that one scene against Loki, so it will likely lead to a Doffy esque "ever white" type of ability, where she spawns a multitude of arrows from the ground and if all of those can have different "abilities" - redirecting, pierce through, movement bind etc. - she might end up being a better man's Doffy.
Sommers also looks very promising. Those paramecia awakenings sure are annoying as fuck. And his gigantic thorn sword prolly packs a decent punch.
