Isn't he around 17ish around the end of ADWD?

Jamie was knighted at the age of 16 and became kings gaurd.

Yes totally. Maybe give Hound a run for his money.
Iirc he was 14 in book 1. I checked it seems he was 16 ish around book 5 so you're more right than I am.

Yeah Jaime got knighted after the Smiling Knight thing right? Around the same age.

Agreed on your assessment re: the Hound vs peak Jon.

Arthur vs Jaime is 50/50 if Arthur doesn't have Dawn. I don't think Jaime is any below Dayne (or Selmy) when it comes to prowess.
Martin has never said Jaime is above Dayne or Barriston for swordsmen. Martin has said that Dayne and Barriston are #1 and #2, respectively. Jaime, quite the egotistical man, even lauds Dayne's sword skills. I think that means something.

The others might be awakened as well but so far I agree. An awakened mythical dragon zoan user (with potential hints as a Zoro opponent) strikes me as the biggest of the three in terms of threat level
Do you think the abyss is what gives access to celestisl dragons awakening also because so far they have given signs that all of them could have it (talking about the gorosei and HK), all of them seem to be immortal, the black fire/abyss thing might give them those powers

I think it’s just because they’re “Gods” oda wants to give all their zoans the hagoromo. I don’t think it’s awakening since Saturn and Nusjuro had their hagoromo in multiple forms which indicates the sash isn’t because of an awakened form

Mmm, that's a bit harsh, no? I mean Brienne is quite strong, and Jaime is only human.

Plus he does regard her highly.
Ture, I am a touch harsh in regards to Jaime. But, he should have been "most dangerous when cornered". I think Jaime started losing his killer instinct as the story goes on. Compare his decimating Eddard Stark's men and then having Eddard on the ropes compared to his fight with Brienne. Granted, he had the element of surprise to some degree. Eddard was rather shocked but that can be due to him being lower than Jaime. The lack of ferocity Jaime exhibited in the fight with Brienne can't be just due to less than ideal condition. He has training. The survival instinct and the associated hormone rush can cover for a short period of time. And yes, Brienne is a rockstar-level swordswoman.

Yes, I think Shamrock will recruit Doflamingo out of desperation after the mission to kidnap the giant children fails.
Doflamingo would be Law's enemy in the Mary Geoise raid.
I can see many reasons why Doffy would not want to be involved or would subvert Imu's plans. Doffy, like Stelly, want the Throne. Now revenge against Law might be the ticket, though. Good one
