I read at least 100 chapters of Kingdom and it's about ( spoilers for the first arc ): a boy who wants to become a general, and he meets the king and helps him escape from assasins and get his throne back because a group of people were trying to steal it, the king is a boy too and too young to rule yet but they make a deal to get stronger and become friends and for the boy who wants to be a general to be a general for that future king, if I remember well it was his caretakers that wanted to take the throne, also super cool opressed mountain people help the boy king get the throne back in exchange for maybe promised help and there's a cool short girl who is dressed with a basket like Gaimon but in a basket but she looks like a boy so the boy who wants to be the general thinks she is a boy, personally I do not loke the gorry artstyle, there is also another girl from a village like in demon slayer and with kind of breathing techniques too
