KNB isn't overly realistic absolutely.


But the GoM players are all based on actual players and you can find the similarities with them.

The GOAT Aomine is of course based on the GOAT Jordan


His unparalleled scoring ability, athleticism, and confidence are all similar to Jordan's.


Akashi, imo, is like a mixture of Iverson and Magic.


Deadly ankle breakers with perfect passing ability.


Kise is kind of a Lebron. Can do anything on the court, mimic styles, and all around game. Can add a bit of Kobe for scoring



Murasakibara is clearly Shaq. Immense physical abilities, dominant paint work and defense, all similar to Shaq.



Midorima is Klay Thompson.

I enjoyed slam dunk better than kuroke no basket or whatever it was called. Glad I saw a bit of sport characters in this tournament, then tend to have more realistic character traits than action series.
