I love Jinbei but Oda has been writing him awfully since Egghead. I do hope he will get his shine, I have my own personal theory that he might tie into Laboon's storyline with Brook and he's gonna be crucial to help find Laugh Tale because it might connect to the whales somehow and thus maybe Laboon's family and such. The Whale Tree on Zou has to mean something and given the sheer importance of music in the story and thus Brook upscale and that a bunch of the SHs and especially Brook have such a personal connection to Laboon and a former Roger Pirate in Crocus too, it's all gonna tie together somehow imo.
Tbh I kinda wish Posiedon was Jinbei instead, it would be more fitting imo and he can talk to whale sharks and get them to help like he did at Impel Down-Marineford, so why not upscale it to Sea Kings and whatever else is out there potentially? Something bigger, more powerful than Sea Kings maybe? Sea Gods/Demons or even Leviathans?
But yeah I completely agree. This Brook stuff was completely unexpected, so whatever we get for Ol Jimbo may come in this arc or in any future arc soon ofc. Maybe something with the Burned Mark Man or the RHP or BBP somehow or Lodestar or w/e. If the SHs do clash with Cross Guild too as they should at some point, id love to see 3 former Warlords reacting to seeing their former fellow Warlord as a SH nakama and thus their direct enemy/rival now too lmao.
I really hope we get to see him fight in water and thus more with water in general, I'm sicked of beached whaleshark/handicapped Jinbei lol, I don't care for him spamming the same brick fist moves and such.

Truly the Wan(k)o of cover stories. I feel this cover story is Oda's trolling/revenge but someone tried to get at me for complaining about it before by implying "you just don't want to see Wano happy!". Bitch they don't even deserve happiness for their literal self righteous mass genocidal history that Oda glorified and thus doubled down on too at the end of that shitty arc!
