its a shitty ass reason why oda kept zoro hidden in egghead when they needed him the most
him playing around with lucci makes him look he doesnt care about the crew and enjoys his fight until he satisfied

you had the whole crew except zoro fighting the elders and stopping them while zoro was relaxing with lucci

I always thought Sanji was his favourite or second favourite based on the material Oda would him, but WCI sealed it.

The fact his arc continued even in Wano was massive.

His CoC awakening moment is gonna be unprecedented kino.

Yeah 100% agree man, its been a saga or feast Oda has been slow roasting this whole time. Its definitely gonna be amazing when it happens and we're getting much closer to it now, its inevitable and it will be soon. Its gonna be so fucking cathartic when we finally get the chapter for it.

Sommers is the perfect kind of opponent to provoke it from him and funnily enough, some people wanted Sanji to face Sommers relative or w/e in Ju Peter too lol. Although I rather he would face Mars or someone else.

I always figured that the regen halt was CoC related. Gaban did nothing out of the ordinary, visually-speaking, when he fought Sommers. The weaker SHs will have to creatively stall the HKs, maybe trap them somewhere. Then again, Oda might just relegate them to dream monster duties while Luffy and co deal with the HKs.
