When I read the spoilers, I was expecting some Zoro vs Sanji stuff again but I never expected this kind of twist when Oda's golden boy was immortal as well.
The Immortality probably involves giving part of your lifespan up and maybe some blood, a literal blood contract.
In all seriousness this is fucking wild and making my head spin. I refuse to believe it was Shamrock talking to the Gorosei despite what others insist too. But Shanks has only been to mary geoise once too right? My head hurts...I understand why people hate storylines with twins, clones, multiverse variants etc more now too.
That doesn't make any sense because King himself noticed Zoro using conqueror haki and told Zoro.
King left flame mode because he no longer believe it would protect him from Zoro's AP. The whole reason he took to the sky and increased his distance was to increase his chance of evading Zoro's attack.
To make it worse, Zorro even attack King in the sky where King had to advantage and he could have entered flame mode at any time.
Zoro not realizing he was using conqueror is just bad writing in exchange for a gag.
But honestly, it's not surprising. Zoro didn't understand when Kaido told him about being a conqueror. Zoro didn't care if the Gifters were knocked out by his haoushoku, and King just said, "So you have kingly ambitions too." No one directly told him, "Zoro, you have CoC." I mean, even Luffy would have never understood about his COC if Rayleigh hadn't told him anything.
