People freaking out that only ACoC users can damage HKs, we will see chars just restraining them like the bubble gun used against Seras.
Don't think non CoC users will suddenly get ACoC because they need to fight HKs.
Law hasn't shown CoC so far, I don't think he gonna get it but his DF may in itself be able to counter them. Ivankov and Kuma ain't getting it though Kuma with his DF may have some counter.

Loki is that kind of guy who want to be the leader, so his refusal is pretty much expected.
109 years ago King Harald was a prince at the moment I assume and was part of old giant pirate crew. He was wild like the other giants until he called back to take the throne and before the disbandment of the crew. Possible that WG killed the previous King and decide to make King Harald a puppet and he complies with the demands because he knows how strong they are. So King Harald intentionally weaken Elbaph citizens to disrupt WG's plan.
The prophecy of Loki killing King Harald turns out to be false, but it's probably the action of Loki caused it. The arson incident that led to the burn down of a village is probably the lead cause, King Harald protected Prince Loki no matter what because he knows his children are important in the future war. Aligning to WG is the final nail to the coffin. The elders can no longer tolerate the behavior of Prince Loki and the blasphemous actions of King Harald. So Jarul planned an assassination of the King Harald and put the blame to Loki. Loki tried to avenge his father by killing all 100 rebellion guards and somehow Jarul survived that. Loki probably ate the fruit after the incident. He fled the country with a handful of followers because no one believes his words. Gaban and Shanks were there when the incident happened, they probably aren't allowed to interfere with their problem.
it's interesting Shanks and Gaban are at Elbaph 14 years ago, Shanks knew Gaban was there. Who is this old friend Shanks has mentioned when he was at the bar? Could it be King Harald another fake death? or Mosa, a little Micky Mouse pet of King Harald?
The WG and Shanks wanted to get the Legendary DF, Sun God Nika from King Harald. But WsW is quick, he stole the legendary DF and Shanks chase him on sea.
Shanks probably doesn't like the mark and losing the arm is not a big deal, more like a convenient. Did shanks learn to make different version of mark at some point to travel faster? or some new tricks.
