@MarineHQ @Kurozumi Wiwi @Elder Lee Hung
At this point, I think the theory that Kuzan is a marine spy, or will explicitly betray Blackbeard is just kind of a bad theory.

We had years of buildup of Kuzan being increasingly skeptical of working for the WG from w7 and the flashback to him fighting Akainu. Plus, him meeting and joining Blackbeard felt authentic and actually well done. I think it would be too weird to think that Kuzan as a spy would freeze Blackbeards entire crew but things worked out so well that Teach ended up giving him an offer? Just feels contrived

The idea that he would betray Teach is a bit too obvious, no? We know he was conflicted, but he did end up putting in work for Teach against his own teacher. Does anyone really want Kuzan to go from being a marine, to a blackbeard pirate, to leaving the blackbeard pirates to join something again?
Yup the idea of Kuzan being a spy has
always been a meme in my eyes. It would shittify his whole conflict with Akainu so damn much lmao.

As far as his actual motivation goes, I believe Kuzan is currently after the One Piece itself and views BBPs as an optimal way to get it. I think Kuzan suspects that One Piece is something that may have a colossal impact on the world once uncovered – he wants to make sure it gets into the right hands (not necessarily his owns hands, although that is certainly possible) so that it could have some kind of positive effect. He also intends to jump Teach right before he gets the OP.

I just really dislike the idea that Akainu and Kuzan would end up making some agreement against Blackbeard. Would unironically ruin one of the coolest moments in the manga.

You are making this worse with each reply, it gets dumber and dumber. It doesn't work the way you think it does.
Admirals are not what people thought they were, they are not the big bosses that Yonkos are.
They are not in conversation for the World's Strongest.
They get sacrificed as hype tools for people like Yonkos which is what Rocks was.

The opposite doesn't happen, a Yonko is not sacrificed for Admiral's hype.
The big shots do not meet anywhere close to as often as you implied this with >38 years...
It has been decades since Yonkos saw each other, guess how many times Garp/Sengoku even encountered Yonkos in those 38 years?
Especially as a desk pusher in the position of a fleet admiral... Close to never.

Also, when a Yonko falls, it is after a gauntlet against many people.
Admirals will fall as side battles for "random people" in 1vs1...
1. Rocks was not a Yonkou
2. You still haven't answered my question why didn't they massacre them.
3. Sengoku and Garp chased them all the time and has fought them multiple times with intention to Kill.

4. The only people to defeat an Admiral is Xebec and Akainu. Your yapping while rookies and no ACoC clowns ring out BM and beat Kaido.
5. Roger literally has interacted with both which is why Roger said bring Garp pr Sengoku to get a good fight. WB mentions Sengoku and Garp too.
6 you still ain't answering why these guys isn't dead.
