This might not have been a battle so using terrain restriction does not make sense for now

Im fine with the guy stronger than Roger and Whitebeard defeating some Admiral existing before the golden age of piracy
But yeah if we gonna use the word murder it could very well be a cheapshot, especially in a place like mariejois where he gets ganged up on
Either way Xebec is next level

This could’ve been a simple murder, which is still a considerable feat

Would they describe the event as the battle instead? The point is was to say someone died.

A murder means the fight is unequal

Xebec had higher portrayal until GV, but I think Roger and Whitebeard ended up with higher portrayal because

Even in his best portrayal, Xebec is mentioned as "perhaps" Roger's greatest foe, and it could be because they both had the ambition to be pirate king/King of the world when Whitebeard was never interested

With that said, depending on his age, it's not impossible that he didn't reach his peak before dying in GV since it was mentioned others like Whitebeard and Co grew stronger, so not impossible that his peak may have ended up higher if he didn't die at GV

But Blackbeard will probably show that potential or higher when he reaches his peak zehaha

I have a counter argument.

Sengoku said "perhaps", BUT in road for laugh tale Xebec was described as "strongest" and "most formidable". Also "Taboo Pirate" is the most intringuing title of all OP for me

@Kurozumi Wiwi @EmperorKinyagi Xebec being "Roger's most formidable foe" means only two things: or Roger never fought admirals or Xebec was > than the admirals of Roger era. And that would mean Xebec > Prime Sengoku
