Fair but I think the bigger issue is just the complete lack of competition on the seas for Kaido to fight. Post oden Kaidos only logged fight is Moriah and Hanafuda which were one sided slaughters. Beyond that he didn’t fight a fellow yonko till Shanks 2 years ago, and there’s no word of Kaido fighting an admiral at the time either.

Roger at least you can say fought strong individuals cause we see it. He canonically fought Whitebeard multiple times post god valley and pre taking oden according to Whitebeard himself.
