I saw a post on Instagram saying Blackbeard is gonna kill Shamrock and take his father's sword from him, Shamrock has Rocks' sword according to that post. I wouldn't be surprised if Oda cops out and kills Shamrock to fulfill the "Shanks is gonna be killed by Blackbeard" theory instead of actually killing off Shanks.

Wouldn't be surprised if the reason boh Kizaru and Fujitora came out unscathed in what was THE Shanks wank movie was due to Oda. Likely told them Shanks is allowed to aura farm like in the manga but not actually put his hands on them.

I always said it, Kizaru and Fuji being untouched in a fanservice non canon Shanks wank film just tells you all you need to know about how careful Oda is with their image. Even in a non canon film made to wank Shanks, all people got was crumbs.

Counter point, Oda was more worried about the optics of a non canon ex Admiral Zephyr losing to post skip Luffy, than Shiki losing to pre skip Luffy.

Oda is more careful with handling Admirals than he is great pirates. Just look at how many excuses he gives to Admirals, while giving none to Big Mom.

Evidence suggests Admiral Shiki would be handled with a bit more care, not to say he would be stronger, Shiki comes right after RogerBeard in that era among pirates.
