I'm of the opinion Oda is putting Kizaru through this moral and emotional crisis so the next time he's put in a similar situation, he makes the right decision.

My hope is Kizaru betrays the World Gov. or rescues someone (Vivi?) but ends up killed by Imu for his solid good deed.

I don´t think that´s possible since Kaido went to destroy the Kozuki clan afterwards. Probably Moria went to return to Wano after hearing about Kaido losing finally, though I still think Blackbeard pirates will go to Wano like they went to WCI, this time Shiryu and Teach

Nah I just solved the EoS match ups.

Luffy v. Akainu
Law v. Fujitora (Fuji has to capture him from Dressrosa + they fought once)
Kidd v. Greenbull

And then the Straw Hats will take on the Gorosei, Zoro v. Nusjuro is almost confirmed and there's 0.0% chance Zoro can take on two top tiers within a similar time frame.

If this happens and Kidd ends up beating a stronger opponent then Luffy does, Vegeta fans have to not only apologize, but kneel and squeel for the Captain Kidd fandom
