idk how folks think god valley has Uranus ancient weapon when garling is telling imu they should hold the next hunting game there

It's certainly complicated. I don't doubting that Harald liked Xebec to some degree but also realized that he's not a good influence.
Harald had no idea what the WG is truly like, he didn't know about Imu. and ultimately Harald failed to achieve his goal for Ekbaf'a sake

Notion that Harald is just a WG dog who actually went to kill Rocks in order to join the WG is way too short-sighted lol
There's been a lot of emphasis put on the friendship between Harald and Rocks, both value their friendship with each other, andwe know especially in the case of Harald that he takes stuff like that to heart as saw him go against the WG for his friendship with the humans that saved Elbaf last chapter. Problem though is that both have completely opposing goals so at some point Harald was always going to be faced with the decision to either prioritize his friendship with Rocks or his vision for Elbaf and as you'd expect he will obvious chose his vision for Elbaf as he isn't just a regular giant but the King of a nation (hell this was hinted with Rocks and Ida's dialogue last chapter). Anyways, point is that Harald was always going to have to cut his ties with Rocks at some point to at the very least show the WG that he isn't on Rocks side.

It's possible that Harald joining the Holy Knights for example was alternative the WG gave him for not being accomplish the initial objective of killing Rocks (could be that Harald rejected the offer to kill Rocks but went to Hachinosu to cut ties with Rocks)

This is good writing: Harald betrayed Rocks by siding with an organization run by evil human sex traffickers.



Harald chose the greatest evil in the world, over his Pal Rocks, when Rocks would never go after Harald.

Harald was a true fool for believing in the WG, and Elbaph suffered for his stupidity.

I'm pretty positive Harald turned into a Demon through Domi Reversi via having the Mark of the Abyss: he got Gunko'd.

If Harald didn't have the Mark, his CoC resists Domi Reversi.

But: Harald made a deal with the devil, and the Devil came to collect.

I do believe that Harald would have changed his mind if Rocks's crew showed fidelity when he asked them " Why do you follow Rocks " but he probably made up his mind after that day, when they just answered that they didn't care about him and his plan, Rocks was alone before he even started.
