Putting so much emphasis on Rayleigh and Shakky love story is weird if their relationship does not lead to a massive reveal in GV.
I mean it is Loki/Harald flashback but Oda dedicated a large amount of time on this “love story” which at first glance have nothing to do with either Loki or Harald.

I hope that Ray is not Mihawk’s father but he is certainly the father of someone important to the story.
