Sommers won't get a full fight. Oda isn't even trying to sell him as a threat; he's a villain closer to Jack and Lucci than Queen or King. The kind of fight he'd get would be something along the lines of Zoro vs. Lucci, where everything happens offscreen and ends in two pages.

Powerscaling wise it might be a letdown but narratively I think a matchup between Sanji and Sommers would be fun

Sanji cooking him after all the pain he’s caused (and with his ability directly interacting with love as an emotion) would be great

Dunno how Oda would make things work with Kilingham and Zoro but he has a cool trident thing so that fits as far as Zoro opponents go

Nah you’re stuck in hopes that the WG is going to be competent opponents. Accept what we’ve been shown, these characters are not strong just tricky due to the regeneration.

Oda used his classic hype tool for Dory and Brogy, high bounties. There’s a reason they’re the only two giants with bounties after all, it’s so we can draw a direct comparison with Zoro and Sanjis growth from their previous battles (1.3 billion to 1.8) there’s also Gabans respect for Dory and Brogy, there’s no chance Gaban would be able to neg them like he could the Holy Knights.

The HK aren’t Monster trio fights, Imu and his new Giants are.

Sanji has to lern acoc or someting else to deal with the god knights soon. Sommer/Sanji will be at least 15 pages with how importent it is for the rest of the story. I dont think everything will happend in 1 chapter but I do with the fight overall will be close to a chapter.
