And it resembles death in their culture too.

In Japan, the red spider lily (higanbana) symbolizes death, loss, farewell, and final goodbyes, and is often associated with the afterlife and the Buddhist festival of the equinox, though it can also represent rebirth and renewal due to the cyclical nature of death and life. Its meaning as a beautiful but ominous flower, appearing near cemeteries and grave sites, stems from both its late summer/early autumn bloom time and its poisonous nature.

Robin upscale btw, Hana Hana no mi (flower flower fruit).

Both Shakky and Gion/Momusagi have spiders on them too. "Black Widows" maybe?

Tritoma kinda reminds me of Momusagi/Gion a LITTLE too. Crocodile best mom/kuja empress/girl btw.

Plus Robin fought a spider character twice (the zombie in Thriller Bark and Black Maria in Wano, plus she met Saturn and Saturn is connected to Ohara's genocide just like he was on God Valley).
And both her and Teach love archeology.
Definitely wouldn't be surprised if they were cousins or something at this point, WAY too many hints on it..

OH DAMN, excellent points dude, thank you! I can't believe I didn't pick up on those, well I've mentioned Robin and Teach's shared love of archaeology before but still...

Why does Lew need more spoilers from other sources this screams peak fraudulence :willight:
LMAO

What happen to sword lethality? What has the world come to? :pepehands:
I like how everyone is using this to mock swordbros as if this isn't the best thing to happen to us
Nobody in their right mind will say Rayleigh ISN'T a swordsman, but he also used airbars/shockwaves, so this is quite a pickle for the "Shanks isn't a swordsman" crowd

Historical research is not archeology. They overlap to some degree.

How are history and archaeology related?

History and archaeology both study ancient people and things. Specifically, historians study older documents and artifacts and create an interpretation of the past for the public. Archaeologists excavate artifacts that both the archaeologists and historians study. Archaeologists also look at historical documents, but they typically use them for background information on a site. The fields of history and archaeology study very similar things but do so from different viewpoints.”
