The Straw Hat flag makes sense: they probably moved it to the front of the country, so it can be seen by people approaching Wano (they want to open the country, remember).

Don't tell me you actually believed that shit? When I saw Garling stabbing his baby momma I knew that dude was chopped liver, he is cartoonishly evil. And we all know what that means in Oda's world.

WB scar is a meme as well, the scar scene was never about Garling to begin with, I doubt Garling was even a concept back then. Not saying it's impossible that Garling ends up doing it, but that would be Oda simply following the fandom, not the other way around. He never intended that to be Garling.

Mind you when that chapter came out
Ace wasn't supposed to be Roger's son yet, just Luffy's brother I guess
