Nah he will for certain be stronger than Gaban and Ray .
Oda made him a elder in current day for a reason .
The knights not important rivals to the top tier over all but truth is there is always be 1 or 2 that stand out .
That how it is for all groups in OP .
Also to me so far 21 year old kaido not done anything impressive in this flashback , yeah he wants to fight people but that don't mean much.
I don't think anyone has done anything that impressive on GV so far .
The small Rocks and Harald fight better than anything we seen here so far .

I never said Roger would one shot Kaido, I said from the start that Kaido wasn’t worthy of fighting Roger and I was completely correct, Crydo wasn’t even worthy of 3v1ing Garp, what makes you think Oda would ever disgrace Roger by making him fight trash like Kaido. Lmfao

Roger would surely defeat Kaido easily, and given Whitebeard can kill Big Mom with a fodder clearing attack, it’s possible Roger can one shot him as well.

But it was clear from the start that Kaido was never worthy of fighting Roger or Garp lol.

It’s already a given that Lord Kuri will return to the story with ACoA and ACoC now that Oda is handing those out like candy. This alone would make Katakuri >> Zolo, Mid, and Lol at the very least. However, using the vast black market ties of the BMPs, Katakuri can also secure the newly reincarnated Seiryu DF for himself. He’ll feed the Seiryu DF to his trident, Mogura (Oda has already expressed interest in giving the Seiryu to a weapon in the SBS), and quickly Awaken the Seiryu, which as a protector deity, is perfectly in sync with himself as the protector deity of the Charlotte Family.

Kaido took a normal hit from Rocks and then was ready to fight and Shiki stopped them so that the island wouldn't be damaged
Garling was literally defeated by Rocks even with the help of Imu and the others
and imu had to join the fight himself

Thank you. I think I associated them with it because of Natsu being called a Salamander especially lol. But my want for a reptilian race and king producing and manipulating fire, it being his life force in a way i guess even made me think of them. Especially when Zoro stabbed him and he randomly exploded, like a walking/flying gas tank/heater ofc lmao.

Lunarians are an amazing concept and design and I'm furious and disappointed we didn't get a flashback to show them and their homeland, what all other lunarians looked like, why only king/alber survived, how they got wiped out etc. must be being saved for later I guess surely sigh.

Yes, we know that such beings are logical
But it's not interesting that aliens are supposed to come to Earth from Mars or neighboring galaxies. It makes this story look like Dragon Ball or ben10.

Brulee was scarred when Katakuri was 10, 38 years ago: Katakuri had Mogura, at this point:

Mogura becoming a Dragon is actually really good for Katakuri's fighting style: use Mochi + Future Sight to avoid attacks, and use the Seiryu to have crazy reach with stabbing attacks.

I still want Zoro to kill Kaido and have the Wado eat the Seiryu Fruit, I love this theory.

Maybe Katakuri's Mogura will eat a Mole Based Devil Fruit, eventually?

@ZenZu @MarineHQ King Kuri probably would’ve done what was impossible for Crydo and awaken the Seiryu DF. The Seiryu is a protector deity, just like Katakuri is the protector deity of the Charlotte family. So Kata would have the right mentality to awaken the fruit

The first thing you say when you open your eyes when you wake up is Kaidou, I don't know if you haven't noticed yet

This flashback was probably the worst thing to happen to Crydo and that’s saying a lot considering Kaido already has the worst portrayal in the manga


If you’re enjoying the continued degradation of Kaido’s character then you do you, I cringe every time Oda draws this character as it just keeps getting worse and worse for him.
-Kicked like a fodder by Rox
-Suggested using hostages against Harald like a coward
-Begged Big Mom to get a devil fruit for him like he can’t get one himself?
-Runs from a 3v1 with Larp, objectively too scared to fight Garp 1v1 even though nobody would have stopped him
-His all time strongest rival Big Mom admits Whitebeard can kill her in one blow with a fodder clearing attack
-And now he steals a fruit from Big Mom making him look like a cowardly thief?

Kaido fans have been so desensitized by Kaido’s humiliation that simply seeing him appear in a panel counts as a W for you guys regardless of how awful Oda makes him look
