Oh fuck yeah! That sounds great then! The concept interested me a lot but I've been lazy about watching shows lol but as season 3 just came out, Ive been wanting to watch it so Ill try it a bit later before I sleep.
That is interesting too damn, so season 2 already wrapped up everything like that? Huh. Sounds like potential milking then worryingly, but ive not read the original manga ofc.
Ill give it a try and let you know what I think of it thanks. I've got so much new and old stuff to watch lately including movies, I need to step my game up lmao. I watched Wednesday Season 2 recently and absolutely loved it, immensely better than the awful last few episodes of the 1st season too.
I'm dying to (ironicallu) if Squid Game is getting the USA spinoff officially or not, it feels inevitable naturally but I'd love to see how the games would look, what games they would pick and twist them into the death games. Idk why but I love death game stories, but probably relates to something trauma/survival related and my obsession with games since childhood lmao. My villain backstory /s.

-> He participated in the tournament where everybody participated in regardless of affiliation over the DF
-> He fought against Marines
-> He fought against Blackbeard Pirates, Burgess
Never once interacted with the Doflamingo and his main subordinates. And in part because if the RA is the one to overrthrow Dolamingo its not a pirate vs pirate conflict, where a warlord got beaten by a pirate. Its the Revolutionaries freeing Dressrosa from the World Government.
Other factor also being that hes not gonna take Luffy's target when Luffy is confident in beating him.

I just had a crack theory btw, its probably been suggested and discussed here before but Oda introduced Shamrock so he can give Zoro "his own Shanks" to fight and since Shamrock is "evil Shanks", Zoro can fight him all out and go lethal as needed. Add the immortality regen and Zoro can really fuck him up and go savage naturally and still get a really long fight out of it too.
But will Shamrock be as strong as Shanks or slightly weaker at least?
Shamrocks being green means the perfect association for our green themed swordsman to fight him too ofc. They are also typically a 3 leaf clover and Zoro is a 3 style swordsman with 3 earrings and Shamrock has Cerberus fruit on his sword which is the legendary 3-headed dog that guards Hades/Hell itself and Zoro has just declared himself the King of Hell and seen the Grim Reaper recently somehow and WAIT A MINUTE, I SEE WHAT YOU'RE DOING HERE ODA, GODAMN!
But also its not like Shanks and Shamrock are gonna be fighting together.....or will they? Lmao. Zoro should meet and face Shanks and discuss Mihawk as they clash and spar and they test one another.
I was thinking Luffy would and should face Shanks and Zoro could face Shamrock instead, but Luffy and Zoro should really face Shanks regardless though. Shamrock is such a confusion last minute inclusion and thus such a wildcard, I'm trying to understand Oda's purpose for even creating and introducing him and if he was part of Oda's plans all along or not. Yeah, I’m worried they’re just milking it at this point, but if it’s done well, I’m all for it. I really miss that show, it had such a fun world, and it’s exciting to finally dive back into it again.

Let’s see if the US version turns out good. I won’t dismiss any new addition to the franchise. Death game shows are always fun and appealing, and I think a lot of us are naturally drawn to them like it’s gravity.
