I thought we would see more of the God's Knights in action during God Valley and even see some Garling hype, but none of that happened.
Maffey was casually cut down by Whitebeard
Sommers was attacked by Ray and smashed through some buildings
Garling was defeated by Rocks
And finally Gunko and the other God's Knights weren't shown fighting anyone notable or getting any major focus other than attacking civilians

I know it's a stupid way to scale but the only thing we have is Kaido's "top 5" which depicted roger and wb at the apex with xebec at the base
not to say that actually means anyhting but when i first read ch1000 it seemed to me that oda was saying roger and wb were the best pirates followed by xebec, shanks, oden

Thing is you don't have to fight to be rivals but i do think maybe they had a clash or 2.
Some of the WG pirates were rivals and most of them team up and never fight each other lmao .
To me this just seem that there were two biggest pirate at the time.
Also when look at hit it sort like Kid and luffy thing .
Rocks was out attack marines etc etc and doing whole bunch of stuff so it was know as his time when roger was more chill.
