What forces? There was just one nameless admiral, Oda protected him from all the Gorosei, and reveries usually do not have many Marines stationed(2 admirals were only at the last reverie because Fujitora and Sakazuki had an argument).
You're just being bad faith to cope for the fact that he had less injuries against Garling and an entire demon army.
