Going back to my poneglyph = strawhat theory
So Jinbe is already part of the crew and is from fishman island. FMI being the location of a road poneglyph and ancient weapon
He has connections with Sanji with him being a short of duo with him and fmi likely having ties to Sanji’s dream
Yamato might officially join post elbaf. Being from wano the location of an ancient weapon and road poneglyph. Wano coincidentally also has Zoro’s dream to become the wss and I can definitely see them making a duo as well. Yamato even knows his uncle
Now we got Loki another candidate to join the crew. Loki obviously being from elbaf an island potentially tied to nika and has potential to be a duo with Luffy being the Kuzan to his Blackbeard. While we don’t know if there was ever an ancient weapon or road poneglyph on the island it’s definitely possible that big mom and Imu stole them
All that being said Loki could be a red herring and not actually join due to being too important
Kinda like vivi, momonosuke, shirahoshi, and potentially carrot with their ties to the void century
Even made a thread on it in regards to carrot
Carrot despite the people at the time calling her too irrelevant to join the crew especially in wano might unironically be too important to join the main crew
We know zou is the original location of a road poneglyph alongside fishman island and wano kuni
Both nations also being the location of ancient weapons/those who can use the voice of all things
Leading up to while there might not be an ancient weapon there there might be another sovereign
We know that the whales like the sea kings were also waiting for the return of their sovereign, carrot is only a year younger than shirahoshi, and that there’s deadass a whale tree in zou
So all points to the other sovereign being a mink from zou
As for why we’ve never seen her use that power
- She’s never met a whale and can likely only communicate with them same as shirahoshi with sea kings or momonosuke with zunesha
- Luffy hasn’t been able to use it until post timeskip
Look next to the whale and guess what it’s a mink. So yeah carrot like momonosuke and Shirahoshi might just be too important to join the crew. For better or worse it might also apply to Loki but idk
There’s a not zero chance that for better or worse Luffy gets another separate journey from the crew like post Sabaody to gather and team up with the reincarnations of nika’s and joyboy’s crews
They should have ties to Nami and Usopp tho. The mink being to Nami and giant Usopp
Outside of carrot and the dukes the most relevant mink to the strawhats would be Pedro Wanda and pekoms. Wanda while close with Nami isn’t so much with Luffy and the rest of the crew so that leaves Pedro and Pekoms. Both of which are definitely alive just like the fishmen pirates, vinsmoke, and pound
Zou could also tie into Nami’s dream of making a map of the whole world considering zunesha has walked the whole world. She was also given a national treasure and it’s an island in the sky
The only relevant giants to luffy besides Loki and the giant captains is colon and ripley. Maybe mosa if they’re from the heaven realm idk
We already know Usopp’s dream is very connected to elbaf
