Mihawk isn't even worth the hair on Joy Boy or Imu's chest. The Vista victim alongside his rivals Zoro, Lucci, Vista etc etc gets vaporised just looking at Joy Boy or Imu.

Akainu just got yeeted to sea floor by whitebeard. Near death situation but Akainu awakened.

Armakis vines are just the extension of his physical limbs as we see.

Akainu got hit with haki, he took the damage, but he regenerated the physical injury. Just like how Sommers is still in pain from Gabans attack but he regenerated the physical injury.

Logia’s just have the ability to regenerate their body from their element. Even if they retain the pain.

Honestly, I kind of see Zoro vs Domy Reversed Sanji happening this arc. This was foreshadowed in Wano when Sanji told Zoro to kill him if he turns evil.

Obviously, Sanji won't be killed since something will happen so that he turns back to normal but this matchup can very likely happen.

Maybe you need haki that surpasses the user's haki.

Yeah, but it seems like Imu was shook by Joyboy's haki, which drew comparison to Shanks' haki.

Shanks/Roger/Rocks seem to embody the peak of haki in the series. Their haki is very likely comparable to haki of Imu and Joyboy.

If Rocks can't negate it using haki, I doubt haki is the answer tbh.
