We know Haki can get through Awakening, because Kaido was still able to hurt Luffy in Gear 5.

But, can it NEGATE an effect put on you by Awakening?

It's possible that Linlin couldn't break out of Kidd's Awakening, but, I think it just takes a lot of Haki, and she didn't want to use that much, because she wanted to back up and kill Luffy after she beat Law and Kidd. Linlin really doesn't hate Kidd and Law that much, especially Law.

Man Kidd has been through a lot

Got his hands decreased by a commander. Got backstabbed by apoo and ambushed by kaido. His right hand filler got turned into a laughing clown. Had to fight meme 2 v 1 where Law did all the damage. Tried to attack the rat and got one shot.

This man was the highest bounty super nova
