Chapter Discussion Imu might not be human?

#22
All I’m certain of is that Imu and “Nerona Imu” aren’t the same being. It would be dumb af if Imu really is just one of the 20 kings who somehow managed to conquer the others, and it being just casually revealed by Ivankov would be kinda weird
Yeah. The fact that he strictly refers to himself as Mu is suspect

I posted something in the spoiler thread how I feel Imu was born a slave or low-class servant to the Davy Family and escaped and offered to help the Twenty Kings as an advisor, and then someone with the Ope-Ope Fruit swapped their bodies and they killed King Nerona in Imu's original body and he took his identity for himself.

-Imu refers to demons as the proper form for life to take.
-Xebec tells him "don't underestimate humans, you freaking monster!"
-Eris, who hasn't even seen Imu, calls him "that thing."

Seems like he's something different compared to being just one of the 20 kings.
I wonder....you know how there was that thing about Awakening a Zoan can risk it overwhelming the user?

Maybe his Devil MZ did it to him.

Imu is enacting the Earth Gods will.
Nah I wouldn’t think too deep into it. Saturn also talked like humans were beneath him but I still think Saturn was a human himself, just with crazy powers.

Rocks probably called Imu a beast because…look at him
Maybe but like Eris calling him that when she doesnt know or seen him is weird.

Kaido is human. Just a different race. He is as much a human as a long leg or long arm or dwarf is a human. It's just that his race is a little different. In the grand scope of one piece it doesn't really matter.
Kaido has never been described as human not even once, stop making shit up

i have been theorizing imu might be the earth god.

And how it wanted to be human so it took on a human form. And befriended Soyboy. After seeing all the friends he had, imu got envious. And that's what lead to the void century wars.

basically the dwarf in the flask yeah
Post automatically merged:

Who’s the black zetsu to Imu’s madara?
One of the gorosei. The oldest one.

I believe the Nerona family is from the vampire race. “Dracule” Mihawk and Satan Imu.

Zoro probably saw Mihawk’s true form when he said S-hawk is more human.

He is not a human, maybe a demonic spirit.

He keeps referring himself as "Mu", emptiness, maybe he takes no shape or form.

He is very chill, nothing worries him, but he is easily agitated and impatient, it's like a demon unleashed on a calmest water thirsting to eliminate whoever disturbs him.

IMU (about to be defeated in the Final War): "I can grant you anything in exchange for your soul!"
Teach: "Deal. I have three souls anyway. Zehahaha!"
