Incidentally, Garp fans are not usually Admiral fans. Admiral fans give Garp the most criticism, and the reason is obvious, because Garp is more relevant to the story than any of them.

I think a more mature seinin would’ve been great. Eraserhead as the MC, hitting a reasonable middle ground between idealistic heroes and harsh reality

Vigilantes was great with a more grounded tone

Vigilante was dope (can’t wait for the s’anime second part)

But even MHA had some dark themes and great moments, villains were kinda grounded (except Shiggy and Toga for a part), quirks making people go crazy, murders, outcasts, government fuckery etc etc

MHA had real good potential as a seinen or a more mature shonen
