I feel like it had to be since GV isn't supposed to be what this flashback is about anyways, but it does make me feel like we just shouldn't have gotten what happened on the island at all. I would have rather us cut away from the actual events of God Valley to AFTER the incident so we could see Loki's reaction to it all. That way God Valley could have been it's own dedicated thing.

Laban was doing photoshoot by holding off mr 5 and was getting flew away by John
2) Kaido and Roger never fought
Kaido should've admired Rocks' haki instead of Roger, and if he did, then should've given equal importance to both Garp and Roger
3) Nobody betrayed anyone in Rocks pirate except that informer and John getting senile for the treasure, what was the great betrayal?
