Maybe that’s why he came up with Gear 5, he probably knew how dull and repetitive pure haki fights would end up being. He’s not inspired in drawing them.

i think oda has gone beyond the point of no return overusing black lightning haki

with the introduction of hk and gorosei and domi reversi which all NEED acoc to even start hurting them. it doesn't matter what df or fighting styles anyone has. they will ultimately end up using black lighting.
