Domi reversi isn't amping up Rocks's coc. It is actually subduing it. It is physical amp not spiritual. Haki is spiritual will power. Heck rocks was fighting against domi reversi at first with his coc.

We have literally zero explanation for for how Domi amps work so I’m not gonna just take your word for it

To me the chapter was fine nothing really change from when we get pew spoilers .
We know that Roger and Grap could not really do anything to rocks until end of the fight .
The art for the fight okay but after seeing chapter it not more hype than what the early spoilers said .

Before they were launched they had an equal clash and Garp and Roger were using advcoc at that time. To say their haki didn't have an effect on splitting the sky is not rational
They split the sky together but in the end Rocks surpassed them
If you want to relate this to the power of IMU then it wasn't Rocks ability
