I took a new route recently
Nowadays I enjoy lifting weights only once every week, mainly I do a couple sets of low reps of compounds
Some shoulder pressing, some deadlift variant, some pullups maybe depending on the mood
But when I was hitting the gym like crazy I liked shoulders and arms the most, something different about your shoulders exploding

I know I have hurt myself deadlifting a couple times
One rep maxes are bad, a couple reps to pump the body but keep tension on the spine low
I like romanian deadlifting the most
Also think its very beneficial to your spine if you do some movement with your spine bent, while still keeping a brace. This strengthens your spine’s stabilizing muscles and generally feel great to do
So yeah deadlifts I like but nothing is worth breaking your back for, got to play it smart to stay in the range of strong and energetic and having sturdy joints

Deadlift one rep maxes sound miserable lol. I’ve never attempted one rep maxes with them because I feel like it’ll be a coin flip on if I break my back attempting it
