I've had a fun time with my driving license actually. So I have a provisional, and it expired last year. I needed to set up an NHS account to make sure I was registered with a GP, in case this illness I have lasts for another week or whatever.

I make one and then it asks for photo ID. My passport is somewhere but expired so I can't use that. My driving license is expired and because it's more than a year expired, I can't use that too.

So I request a new provisional license, and I need to go through some other portal. And then to do that, I need to have photo Id, and I can't use my expired license. So the only way I can get a new one is to send a postal order via letter.

And then I try to actually with a GP using the NHS account I created but can't sign into. And what do you? It let me reregister with the GP without me even being able to sign in. Not only that, I can get my NHS number too. But I can't sign into the account that's supposed to be what keeps all this secure. How stupid is that?

I have a fun November ahead of me.
