yeah it's just that in the past when i was scum reading him ( and he was indeed scum ) i would have to quote him so many times to the point where if he didn't answered me it would make him look really bad and eventually he would give his opinion, so i liked the fact that he gave the read so early and without too much pressure, now sure maybe his scum game improved but from my past interactions it was a good post in my book

Him being scum last game is completely irrelevant to this one - to suggest otherwise is a Gambler's Fallacy.

From the bits I saw he's been similar and I haven't seen enough to move the needle. Would say outside of him I'd be open to a Yo Tan Wa vote too as he's sort of made low activity coasting his thing as scum these days.

That's what I was implying. He started off similar yesterday and then sort of dipped this morning. It will be interesting to see how he plays out the rest of this day phase. I wouldn't mind him as a D1 lynch.

That's not to say I'm flipping my read on Yoho, and I do think Worst is town too for the read, but I just want to step back a bit as what Worst is saying has merit.

How many games have you played with him?

i'd say 8 or so ? i remember going nuts in the beginning cuz he had a midnight kind of playstyle where no info was coming out of him xD then it improved quite a bit but i saw him in all the flavours and even that game where we were scum together i got to see his thought process a little better

I have given thoughts. When I start playing and am 'feeling' out players, for lack of a better word, I'm trying to find my own metric for scum reading players. I look for tells, clues or subtle slips. They are not always right and I am not going to claim that I'm some Nostradamus. I just know that Orca seems, and seems is a weak word here, to be playing similar.

Yoho is harder to read. He looked to be coasting most of the last game I played with him. Again, I know that you can't copy and paste a play from a previous game here but when it's one of the indicators you look for in a player based on previous play history, I'm going to notate it and keep an eye on them.

Im just vibing right now, I don't have any solid reads yet but Flower showing her cards so early especially a double vote card could be her just trying to get a head of it, since DV ability is pretty NAI her revealing it at the point she did could be her attempt at garnering early support by subtly she'll use her DV power to help town when in reality she could be helping scum

His entire ISO is a huge nothingburger so far and there are instances which make me think he’s trying to compensate for previous game, like randomly posting 🤔 without it fitting the context.

I also told him he wouldn’t have gotten away previous game and look here, his only real thought so far is that I‘m scum lol.

his posts are 95% random u just gotta work with that 5% that actually have some context and see in what circumstance they were posted it's a tough job.....what bothers u the most ? the fact the he scum reads you / the read he gave / his whole threadplay so far ? like if u had to convince me

Anyhow, still hasn't caught up but Naomi kinda pushed my hand here. I'm neutral indie too. What it comes to mostly is that I'm taking people's runes and i have to collect 10000 of them. I'm not killing anyone, neither need to outlive anyone. Wasn't gonna claim yet but noone will believe me if i do it later with Naomi's claim.

Okay, two indies with similar neutral wincon kind of worries me though possible in a large game. How do you collect runes and what it does to people?

I can understand it. I'll post some filler when it is dead just to pass the time or carry on conversation but I'm also trying to poke Orca from time to time to get him to contribute more. He coasted a lot of last game and it wasn't until near the end when Ratchet swung around on him.

He claimed it was host problems with the scum team that had him playing that way.

BTW I agree in principle and I may put my vote back on there but Worst is correct as well in that as scum you need to drag things out of him most of the time. No harm is stepping off and seeing what happens.
