You are right and when you think about it Sganks and Luffy should not have been Emperors. The responsibilities linked to this title is antagonistic to the idea of freedom.
And because Oda always try to write the story as tragic as possible the more we will learn about Shanks the more we will learn about the shackles that stop him to really be free.

Assuming his crew knows who he is and his role, they probably just hung out on some island somewhere until he came back 14 years prior (when Harald dies and hes with Gaban)

From the looks of it Shanks became a HK 15 years ago when he got the seal (Luffy was 4 yo). Then 12 years ago (Luffy 7 yo) Shanks was already a pirate with a 1 bil bounty and sacrificed his arm. So Shanks was a HK for not more than 3 years, probably even less.
24 yo Shanks becomes HK, 27 yo Shanks is pirate with 1 bil bounty and has sacrificed his arm.

Its interesting Harald was guarding Florian Triangle maybe he found the location when Jarul said the enemy turned (Galley la pirates ) them into ice .

Imu was definitely worried about potential of Ancient Giants powers .

This is what if speculation but its possible Imu probably had a biff with Ancient Giant even after Void Century and could not control them unlike other races .

ok i just realised Mosa could be Shirahoshi , i assumed it was ida but this changes everything . Blackbeard pirates probably invaded Fishman and captured her .

That would mean Loki will confront Blackbeard going ahead . The shock he will have after he finds Mosa was a girl all along .
