Problem I have is that Teach should have been with WB. The entire point was he was camping under his protection and hiding beneath his giant shadow. Like, its explicitly been made clear that Teach was fully set on staying low. Injuring a Holy Knight? Sounds the very opposite of that.

There should be no way. Feels completely out of character for BB considering how he operated. He wanted to be the weak little loser who cant do shit.

The guy in the middle here seems to be Shanks before the incident(shorter hair than Shamrock)

During the incident, we see Shanks(with bandage) aiming for Fisher's neck collar and thus freeing him, with Fisher removing his bandage during the moment, and his eye bleeding(so fresh injury)

And when you add Shamrock's dialog later about it being more wise for Shanks to wait for his injury to heal, it's pretty clear Blackbeard scarred him during that incident
