Honestly; Who can tell. We can assume all we want, but until we actually see, It's nothing but fans with certain biases making up theories and speculating like they know for certain how things are going to go down, as if they're god.

if you use "sword" as a circumstances.
zoro will fight shiryu
zoro will fight king
zoro will fight vista
zoro will fight smoothie/cracker/snack
zoro will fight shanks? lol
Oda should manipulate both zoro and sanji to be able to match ups against these commander fighting style.
So its safe to say zoro and sanji will be able to fight against all of the yonko commander despite of their fighting style

1st of all, I don't think that Sanji Vs. King will be a long battle... Imo it'll just be a small clash, coz with or without RS, Sanji ain't gonna match a YC1 at this point in the story. So I don't think Oda will be circumventing anything.

King, unlike BM, Kizaru etc. seems to be mainly a swordsman aka gis sword is not am accessory to his power but without a doubt his strongest asset. He is referred as a swordsman, we have seen him in the flashback using a sword when he battled Oden and the scabbards. Now imo Oda was teasing making King go after Sanji and kicking him, tease that disappeared for hype in the next panels when he chocked and stabbed/smashed Sanji against a building.

Now this "fight" started very very bad for Sanji and a lot of things suggest a certain someone could just step him to save him. Said this Oda is already shitting enough on Sanji for making him use the RS as his power up (it was a gift on a silver plate from a man he has all the reasons to hate) if now he also makes him forget his rule about the hands Oda can directly made him beat Nami and Robin in the next chap at that point..

Anyway for sure when he will be stronger than King he will be able to beat him sword style or not

in the end it doesn’t matter if you can beat king you can beat queen and if you can beat queen you can beat king. So idk why zoro fans are so mad about zoro vs queen

queen also has two swords and we know he has his poisons as well but why would he carry around swords for no reason ?

King specifically using kicks as his specialty so far.
