Just throwing random ideas out here, but those Elders of Elbaf have to be dead, right? Since no one seems to think telling them about the Holy Knight's ultimatums is important.

But I also feel like if someone like Loki killed them, that would have been brought up by now.

I´m not entirely sure we are ever going to see them or that they´ll be plot relevant. Which is unfortunate, IMO

Before they were mentioned last chapter, I thought Oda genuinely forgot about them. I would have liked the idea of Loki killing all of them, but Oda really doesn´t want to focus on inner Elbaf stuff, as opposed to like, Xebec/Roger/Shanks/HK stuff. So yeah, maybe just old age? Though you´d think there would be replacements.

I would have liked the idea of Loki killing all of them, but Oda really doesn´t want to focus on inner Elbaf stuff, as opposed to like, Xebec/Roger/Shanks/HK stuff. So yeah, maybe just old age? Now that's a tricky one as the kind of pressing matter to deal with is Imu.

Unless maybe Luffy's Nika power freaks Imu out and he goes up there to mentally regroup?

Or it's where the post-climax takes place and more lore is there. It's a puzzler to me.

I'm expecting Garp to be sold to Cross Guild, no reason Teach wouldn't take the 3 Billion Berry.

If that happens, Bogard will have legit beef with Buggy. Somehow.

Garp is getting Dishonorably Discharged.

IMO, Imu's allowed Garp to exist so long, because Garp was great public morale for the Marines. Same way Imu was fine with luring Harald in so he wouldn't go against the WG.

Cipher Pol is good at their jobs: if they found out Ace is Roger's kid, am I supposed to believe they never found out Garp's ties to Ace/Rouge?

How do the Marines act if it's revealed Garp:
1. Covered up Roger's child and helped raise him, leading to the pregnant woman hunt and Marineford
2. Freed Dragon, because he was his son, who became the "world's worst criminal"
3. Refused to capture Luffy in Enies Lobby, because Luffy was his grandson, leading to Luffy in Impel Down/Marineford

The WG has LEGIT GROUNDS to dishonorably discharge Garp for all his insubordination. If they have info Koby was on Alvida's crew, they can cut ties with Koby, too. Possible Dadan gets arrested, as well.

This, along with Vegapunk's announcement, will lead to a huge schism in the Marines, IMO.

We'll get a Sword-focused splinter faction rescuing Garp from Cross Guild's public execution of Garp (Ace parallel).

IMO, the Garp rescue arc is where Bogard will get his time to shine.

That said, if Imu is indeed forced to retreat and Elbaf is saved, the possibility he starts to get desperate enough to bring Teach into the fold isn't necessarily impossible then.

I feel that's also where he and Shanks have their showdown about. Imu orders Teach to kill Luffy, and Shanks intercepts him, freeing Luffy to go Laugh Tale.

He finds the One Piece...at the expense of his mentor's life.
