Versus Battle Is Pain vs Itachi a debate?

if Jiraiya can solo 4 pains with no intel and needing assistance to create a genjutsu, itachi will body pain/nagato without much effort lets be honest, only thing that would give itachi trouble is if its all 6 peins at once and hes getting countered by deva path but even than isthat enough to bypass susanoos ultimate defense and blade.
but if we use their alive versions nagato is permanently crippled and itachi is leaps and bounds smarter than naruto to understand pein hell he even knew he wasnt even in charge of akatsuki so he already has intel on him to understand how to easily defeat him.
if both are primed it can go either way but that if its 1on1 opposed to 6v1 itachi wins that handedly. 6 paths would be tougher but Naruto easily destroyed all versions of pein outside of deva with intel if you guys dont think itachi can do as much while naruto had just barely learn sagejutsu.

I agree that Sick Itachi loses but I’m assuming you have Edo Itachi over Pain right? Since those stamina and chakra issues are gone.
Also, I wanna push back on the Genjutsu resistance thing. It’s never said that Rinnegan has Genjutsu resistance, this is simply a Mandela effect that the fanbase has gaslighted itself into. Just because it’s a superior eye doesn’t mean it’s immune to everything the inferior eyes has below it. Especially not MS level Genjutsu. The only statement regarding this matter is Sasuke’s Rinnegan’s resistance to the Infinite Tsukuyomi BUT Sasuke had his Rinnegan amped up by his own EMS and Six Paths chakra. Nagato’s Rinnegan is fodder in comparison.
Itachi can definitely use Genjutsu against Pain. Worst case scenario, he’ll be forced to use Tsukuyomi but it can canonically land on multiple targets at once so it shouldn’t be an issue.
Tldr, most paths outside of Deva and Asura is fodder to Itachi. Asura can also be defeated by Totsuka Blade GG “easily” (easily is in quotations because while Itachi’s arsenal does have a very viable wincon against Asura, I wouldn’t say him using his strongest weapon is easy).
Deva is the only problem.

Animal Path summons are even worse than the Paths lol. They’ll be basic 3T Genjutsu victims without even taking too much toll on Itachi’s chakra reserves. Itachi also outscales the Paths by a lot in terms of speed so he will eventually be in range for Amaterasu amped Katons which will kill them. Not to mention, a bigger target is a death wish against the Susano’o. Especially one with an overpowered sword that can one shot anybody
