As for contradictions, his proposal to Lola has nothing to do with elbaf, the lore in this arc entirely hinges on harold and loki, harold who is the second coming of Oden, an idiot. And loki who's story hinges on harold, this is the first arc where the lore behind the arc is entirely irrelevant because people care far more about god valley then they do about the giants

they were literally fighting harald. they knew he was turned into a monster. they should be able to put it together that loki killed him cause he was gonna kill everyone else otherwise
