News MAJOR news on One Piece story future from Oda from Jump Festa 2026

Lmaoooooooooooooooo

so much for everyone thinking Blackbeard was the final villain, fucking called it

Celestial Dragon fans keep eating
The BBPs are defeated on Lodestar, but BB manages to escape and hides on the Sunny. The SHs reach Laugh Tale, learn the true history, and Luffy becomes PK. Then BB steals the One Piece, traps the SHs on Laugh Tale, and flies (with the OP) to Mariejois, where he defeats IMU (avenging Xebec) and absorbs him. By the time the SHs return, the world has fallen into chaos, and Luffy, Dragon, and SWORD all have to work together to defeat Final Eldritch Teach.

No you're not lol. You're insinuating that he, for some reason, won't make Teach kill Imu even though everything is clearly being built up towards that. There'd be no reason for Teach to fail exactly like his father did
Teach won't ever touch Imu, he's collecting rubbings to find the One Piece. That's the next arc. Imu and the 11+ top tiers under him will come after, when Luffy collects every ally in the verse to fight Imu and the World Gov.

Oda's been pretty hard on the Pirate King race post-wano, even making announcements when characters are permanently removed from it (Kidd/Law). Blackbeard's going to be the final obstacle in that race

He also wants to be the king of the world..

Okay but Blackbeard is actively trying to reach Laugh Tale. Do you think Oda is having Blackbeard jack Law's shit, explicitly kick him out of the Pirate King Race (Meaning Blackbeard is in the race to kick Law out of it), kidnap Pudding to read the ancient language of the Poneglyphs, only to have him heel turn and go take on Imu?

Teach isn't Ace though. He's being very very meticulous with his rise to the top and doing his best to not get clapped before he can kill off Imu.
Even Xebec didn't fail because his plan was bad, but because Harald didn't want to cooperate with him and he was forced to face Imu too early.
Teach and Ace are mirrors of one another. Teach is meticulous, but Xebec lost because of destiny and luck. Teach may end up going the same route.
